Road safety
3rd road safety charity event (road safety campaign)
- Dates
- Monday 21 September – Wednesday 30 September 2026
- Organised by
- Luana Rent a Car Co., Ltd. and 39 Loop
- Supported by
- Miyakojima Police Station, Okinawa Rent-a-Car Association, Miyakojima Tourism Association
- Participants
- 11 rental car companies in Miyakojima
- What we did
- At each company’s store, staff handed customers a road safety flyer when they rented a car, and added a few words asking them to drive safely. The flyer is in Japanese on the front and English on the back, so visitors from overseas can read it too. Before the campaign, Luana Rent a Car delivered the flyers to the stores of each participating company.
- Flyers handed out
- 3,500 (total for the 11 companies)
We will keep doing this next year and beyond.

Figures on the flyer, such as the number of traffic accidents, are from Miyakojima Police Station data. Related article (Japanese) ›
